Dr. Leena Bhat has nearly 25 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology. After completing her MBBS in India, she got multiple postgraduate degrees in Ophthalmology from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Glasgow, Edinburgh and London from 2003 onwards. In 2016, she got the Fellowship from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London. She is on the GMC UK Specialist Register.

Dr. Bhat has taken part in several research trials in Ophthalmology and regularly attends conferences and meetings to keep herself updated. She has worked in multiple hospitals and subspecialities during her career in the UK.

She is a UK Royal College approved trainer and assessor for junior Doctors and Paramedical Staff. She also has over 10 years’ experience in clinical research trial recruitments in the UK and has completed a research degree in Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
