He graduated in 2005 (MBBS) from Punjab Medical College Faisalabad, Pakistan, affiliated with the University of Health Sciences, Lahore and pursued his basic training (residency) in Internal Medicine in the Allied Hospital, PMC, Faisalabad. He later completed his fellowship in Cardiology (FCPS) in Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore.

He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, London (MRCP, UK). He has expertise in Preventive, Non-interventional as well as Interventional Cardiology. He is a Primary Operator of the Pakistan Society of Interventional Cardiology. He is involved in many National and International scientific meetings as presenter, delegate, and organiser.
