Dr.Tisha Rachel Jacob, MBBS,MD,DNB(Psychiatry) is working as a specialist Psychiatrist and has more than 8 years of experience in Psychiatry. She completed her graduation(MBBS) and post-graduation(MD-Psychiatry) from Kerala, India and obtained DNB in Psychiatry in 2018. She has worked as Assistant Professor and consultant Psychiatrist in various hospitals and has experience in managing various clinics like General adult Psychiatry, Suicide prevention clinic, Child and Adolescent Clinic,De-addiction Clinic, and Geriatric Clinic. She was also commissioned into the Indian Navy at INHS Sanjivani, Kochi and served as a Medical Officer (Specialist) attending to both out-patient and in-patient Psychiatry Patients. She is an expert on building a strong Doctor-Patient Interface and thereby enhances the quality of life for the ill while shouldering responsibilities for the progress of the establishment.Her emphasis is on practical, holistic care in the management of mental ailments embodying a combination of biological and psychological methods. She has published and presented her research in various National Forums. She is a member of the Indian Medical Association.
