This procedure can investigate symptoms like vaginal bleeding, heavy periods, severe pelvic pain, etc. It also helps a doctor diagnose and treat fibroids and polyps. There might be slight pain and discomfort during the procedure; the doctor will stop the process if you are unable to bear the discomfort. Most women can return to their routine right after the procedure, while some require a day to do the same. Doctors may instruct you to avoid intercourse until the bleeding has stopped; this typically takes a week. You may experience period cramp-like pain after the procedure is normal and must be brought to the doctor's notice if it becomes unbearable.
